" Preparing To Shrug " - Life size sculpture ( 60" x 44" x 48") of Atlas in his classical
pose. Atlas is made from over 435 wrenches and the world is made from 42
computer key boards, cell phones, and Blackberry's. The world has impact craters where technology struck the earth and changed it. The state of our economy and the factors that created this situation inspired this piece.

"3rd Planet Strut" - This
piece has to do with our real contributions as humans and the arrogance
we all have about our superiority on the planet. The figure is doing that Mardi Gras strut with an umbrella. In his opposite hand, he is holding a feather.
To me that feather is more
complicated and more simple and functional than anything us humans have
done. It simply aids the birds in there life on earth and then degrades
leaving no trace it was ever here. ( Unlike our huge footprint.....).
3rd Planet Strut is 58" tall x 38" wide. This piece is made from old steel tools.

"Pelican"- The belly and neck have over 300 forks woven together to really portray the feathers accurately. Down the back, are woven flatware handles and other forks. The pizza cutter forms the eyes and tongue and the "ricer" forms the bill. The feet are crab crackers (nut crackers).

"Living Outside The Box" - This sculpture has a school of fish swirling upward and around a tool box. The tool box has an underwater patina and sponges and fans growing on it. These sponges and fans are magnetic so that they can be rearranged. There also is a group of tools rusting inside the box that can be seen through the opening at the bottom. "Question !!!"-This sculpture is made of wheels from skates, scooters, skateboards, inline skates, heelies, etc. It is 8' tall and 42" wide. The face of the clock has letters instead of numbers. The letters ask "Where's Yo Kids?". This piece was inspired by the fact that many parents let their kids take off without asking "where are they going? Who are they going with?
