This is a new way of sculpting solid steel and mixing
metals. All these sculptures are made from melted and sculpted steel
found objects. Some of the sculptures are then infused with brass and
copper.
The Slam -
This Sculpture is 4' tall x 2' wide.

"3rd Planet Strut" - This
piece has to do with our real contributions as humans and the arrogance
we all have about our superiority on the planet. The figure is doing
that Mardi Gras strut with an umbrella. In his opposite hand, he is
holding a feather.
To me that feather is more
complicated and more simple and functional than anything us humans have
done. It simply aids the birds in there life on earth and then degrades
leaving no trace it was ever here. ( Unlike our huge footprint.....).
3rd Planet Strut is 58" tall x 38" wide. This piece is made from old steel tools.

female of a clan or lineage. And the arrow represents the generations that have
spawned from her to continue the family into the future. The ovals on the arrow
represent offspring who will have offspring. This piece represents a
strong original female that created a family tree.
