Joe Thompson is an Atlanta native currently living in Merritt Island, Florida. He has four children and a wife of twenty years. His art reflects many years of experimentation and evolution.   At the present, Joe only uses recycled materials in his art. These materials are manipulated many different ways to achieve different effects. From the whimsical to the serious, no two are the same. Every piece is authentic and original. No molds! No prints!  Joe's art is inspired by the objects he finds and his own colorful life experience. Joe sums up his art work by saying; "I make things everyday. Some days I really connect with that subconscious creator in me. Like waiting for a guest to arrive, I give art a place to happen!"
